Upon reaching the homepage of BlackShemaleStars, you’ll be greeted with a menacing, albeit kind of cute spider sporting a shiny grey top hat and presenting you with the obligatory ‘Adult Content’ warning. Unless you’ve just started surfing adult sites, you know that these pages are often pretty dry and colorless so it’s nice to come across one where some actual thought was put into the design; and, my first reaction on seeing the page is that the persons running this site must care about how their site is presented… always a plus in the great wide world of porn!

The welcome page of BlackShemaleStars is well designed and you immediately get a good sense of what the site is about, cause you may still not have gotten that from typing, ‘BlackShemaleStars‘ into your web browser ;). The site itself is part of the SheMax family of sites which include the excellent site, Ladyboy Player; Wild Shemale Orgies, and Shemale Tugjobs. SheMax prides itself on creating Shemale related sites that feature ‘Exclusive, High Quality Content’ created and presented by individuals who are Shemale admirers themselves. In my opinion, this is an extremely important aspect of creating a quality Shemale website (or any website for that matter). If you have no affinity to the content you’re presenting you probably have no business trying to create the website in the first place. OK… enough pontificating, back to BlackShemaleStars.

From a design standpoint, BlackShemaleStars is, in a word, flawless. The site follows all the tried and true aspects of modern website design. The difference sections are clearly marked with a navigation bar about halfway down the page and all the links I clicked actually worked (you’d be surprised at how often this is NOT true!). The Forum section of BlackShemaleStars is actually a sub-forum of a larger forum and doesn’t look to have had much activity, but, as not too many people join a site based on the strength of its free forum, this can easily be forgiven. Several video previews are available right from the welcome page and are presented in Flash, WMV, and MPG so no matter what type of computer you have, you can enjoy this excellent site.

I always think it’s a little funny how in this politically correct world, people choose to describe black persons. As many sites do, BlackShemaleStars has gone the food route, mentioning the word, ‘chocolate’ twice in the first couple sentences of the introduction. Works for me! I ran to the kitchen, grabbed a Twix, and settled down for some fun browsing.

The Member’s area of BlackShemaleStars, at the time of this writing, will shock your system a little bit, especially if you’re one of those browsers huddled around your computer screen in the dark each night. As mentioned earlier, the public pages of the site are beautifully designed so the stark, all-white design of the Member’s area stands out in sharp contrast to the previous pages. I found navigation to be a little overwhelming as well but welcomed the help of the familiar navigation bar in the center of the page. According to the ‘Latest News‘ section, it appears that BlackShemaleStars has a good update history with update occurring ever week since its creation. Good news for those of you who like burn through porn like matches on a cold winter’s day.

Members of BlackShemaleStars have several different methods for browsing the ‘hot chocolate shebabes‘ of BlackShemaleStars. You can browse by, ‘Top Rated Episodes by Members,’ ‘Top Rated by Staff,’ ‘Top Rated Movies,’ and ‘Top Rated Photo Sets.’ You can also search by ‘Tags’ much like you would on a Blog. Some people will like having this sort of service, I, for one don’t use search features that much so didn’t spend a lot of time testing how well it worked. One thing I really appreciated about Black Shemale Stars is the ‘Favorites’ section in which Members are able to mark specific scenes or photosets that they appreciate and have them appear there next time they visit the site. This is a creative and unique section and one that frequent visitors to the site most likely appreciate and have taken advantage of for those ‘quickies.’

PHOTO CONTENT
Photo Galleries in BlackShemaleStars are presented in either Hi Quality 1280×960 or Low Quality 850×638 galleries. You can either choose to view the pictures singly or else download an entire ZIP file containing all the pictures in a given set. You’re also able to rate the different sets on a scale of 1-10, which (I suppose) helps the Webmasters determine future content. As with any porn, my views are extremely subjective, but I found the photo content to be a good mixture of 4’s - 8’s with my favorite being the beautiful Hellen Madok, with her piercing blue eyes and lovely ‘equipment.’

MOVIE CONTENT
Movies in BlackShemaleStars are presented in several different formats from Hi-Def 1280×720 to Medium Quality 544×304. If your computer and internet speed can support it, you definitely want to check out the Hi-Def videos, but again, only if your internet speed can handle the larger file sizes. For quick browsing, you can also stream individual minutes of the movies until you find one that you want to download in its entirety. Again, content is purely subjective, but I found myself with a bulge from more than one of the clips!

CONCLUSION
If you’re a fan of black Shemales, this is one site you shouldn’t miss out on browsing. BlackShemaleStars has been extremely well thought out and although I’m not crazy about the design of the Member’s area, the quality and availability of the content more than makes up for a little eyestrain. The site offers plenty of fun ‘time wasting’ opportunities as well such as Performer Interviews, Behind the Scenes, and even a Personals section (outside the site).
